Estonia has 12 public holidays. The workday before New Year's Day, Independence Day, Victory Day and Christmas Eve is shortened by 3 hours under TLS §53. Choose a year below for exact dates.
How holidays are calculated
Nine holidays are fixed dates (1 January, 24 February, 23–24 June, etc.). Three move with Easter: Good Friday (Easter − 2 days), Easter Sunday (Gauss algorithm) and Pentecost (+ 49 days).
Who this is for / not for
The list applies to Estonian employment relationships under the Employment Contracts Act. It does not replace the official calendar in exceptional situations, contractual leave days or foreign holidays. A short day applies only when it falls on a working day.

Example: holidays per year
Every year has exactly 12 public holidays. In 2027 the moveable holidays fall in March–May (26 Mar, 28 Mar, 16 May).
Example: short workday
23 February, 22 June, 23 December and 31 December are shortened by 3 hours under TLS §53 when they fall on a weekday (Mon–Fri).
