Formula and variables
holidays(2027) = fixed dates ∪ {Good Friday, Easter, Pentecost}. Easter (28 Mar 2027) uses the Gauss algorithm; Good Friday = −2 days; Pentecost = +49 days. Short workdays are the days before 24 Feb, 23 Jun, 24 Dec or 1 Jan 2028.
Scope and exclusions
Suitable for Estonian payroll and HR planning. Does not cover collective-agreement leave days or foreign holidays. If a short day falls on a weekend, no separate shortening applies.

March 2027 working days across holidays
March 2027 has two public holidays: 26 Mar (Good Friday, Friday) and 28 Mar (Easter, Sunday). 26 Mar reduces working days; 28 Mar already falls on Sunday.
May 2027: Spring Day and Pentecost
1 May (Friday) and 16 May (Sunday, Pentecost) are public holidays. Pentecost does not add an extra free weekday because it falls on Sunday.
Short day before Victory Day
22 June 2027 is a Tuesday — the workday is shortened by 3 hours before 23 June (TLS §53).
