The calculator shows how much an entered amount earns at the selected annual rate over a whole number of months. For example, a €10,000 deposit for 12 months at 3% per year earns about €300 in simple interest, for a final amount of €10,300.
How deposit interest is calculated
The calculator uses simple interest: interest = deposited amount × annual rate / 100 × months / 12. The final amount is the deposit plus calculated interest. Calculation happens in your browser; the amount and rate are not sent to the 777.ee server.
Why a bank's result may differ
A bank may count actual days, pay interest at a different frequency, compound it or apply early-termination conditions. Tax and fees may also affect the final amount. Always check the terms and calculation for the specific deposit.
What the calculator does not compare
777.ee does not enter or recommend a bank rate, publish deposit offers or call any product the best. Enter a rate from a verified bank offer yourself. This is an informational estimate, not a bank offer or personalised investment advice.
Examples
€10,000, 12 months and 3% per year
Interest = 10,000 × 0.03 × 12/12 = €300. The deposited amount is €10,000, interest is about €300 and the final amount is €10,300.
€10,000, 6 months and 3% per year
Six months of simple interest = 10,000 × 0.03 × 6/12 = €150. The final amount is approximately €10,150.
